Adams Apple Orchard

On    we will be traveling to Adams Orchard. We will leave ABS at 11:55 AM  and will return by 1:45 PM. We are exploring life cycles of living things that grow and live outside.  We are exploring ways that we can help to keep our plants healthy. This experience ties in nicely with Global Goals.

Dairy in the Classroom

Thanks to a special grant kindergarten is participating in a special program called; "Dairy in the Classroom." On  all Explorers classrooms will travel to the  We will l

Farm to School offers this opportunity to Vermont teachers. Our team has received the grant. We travel to the farm and will have 3 classroom visits with hands on activities in regards to farm sustainability as well.

Williston Fire Station

On  we will be walking to the Williston Fire Station to tour the station, learn about the role of a firefighter and also hear about how firefighters are important and how they help our community.  We will leave Kindergarten at 11:55 AM  and return by 1:30 PM.

Shelburne Farms

On  we will be traveling to Shelburne Farms with  class to explore the importance of having forests and how we can sustain them.  This is apart of our exploration of forest life and forest ecology. 

We will leave ABS at  8:30 AM and return to school no later than 2:00 PM.  Your child will need a lunch, water, and clothes to be outside.
