Welcome To The Collaborations Page!

SKYPE is a great tool that we use to make connections and collaborate with others.

This is where you come to read about the collaborations happening with your children outside of our school. Together we are learning about the world through a variety of digital platforms.

A child collaborating at home with her dolls!  This child created this at home after we introduced the word/meaning of collaborate in kindergarten!

I am most excited to share that we will be connecting with another educator and students in Peru.  This is a very exciting opportunity to connect, engage and have conversations around our culture, education and what it is like being a student in Peru/Vermont.  I have listed some goals below and also a link to a blog I have created where I will be reflecting on my experience and celebrating what it is like being a NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellow.

Goals:

By developing a relationship with a class in another part of the world, participating students will:

6. Learn about the language/speak some Spanish

7. Connect with others in our community/middle school as a way to partner and share our journey.  This will be a nice way for community service opportunities to arise within our school also.
